Capybaras VS Plants Totems Guide

Totems are placeable plot items in Capybaras VS Plants that passively boost hatching, income, or luck. They do not attack plants like capybaras do, but they shape how fast you rotate eggs and how much each plant wave pays. Most players receive their first totems from codes rather than the shop — which makes totems one of the highest-value free item lines in the game.

Totem of Stars

Granted by active 100KFAVS alongside 100K Cash (replacing the retired 10KFAVS grant). Stars totems focus on hatch speed — the bottleneck when you run four eggs at once and want them open before closing Roblox. Place Stars near the cluster of egg slots you use most often.

Stars is usually the first totem new August 2026 accounts place if eggs feel sluggish after redeeming codes. See the totem tier list for stage-by-stage priority.

Totem of Fortune

Granted by active 5MVISITS with 250K Cash and one Gilded Hatch Hammer. Fortune totems skew luck toward better hatch outcomes, boss drops, or mutation rolls depending on active events. Position Fortune next to the egg you are actively hammering or keep it ready for Mutation Farming weather windows.

Fortune is A-tier for most accounts — S-tier during boss farms or weather sessions where one lucky roll saves hours of grinding.

Totem of Wealth

Historically granted by expired UPDATE2 alongside Fortune and 100K Cash. Wealth totems push plant cash generation. If your account already owns Wealth, place it where your strongest capybaras clear the densest plant traffic.

New accounts cannot reclaim Wealth from active codes. Build Cash through army DPS, tree levels, UPDATE3 Cash, and plant battles instead — see Best Cash Method.

Placement best practices

1. Stars sits centrally among eggs — move it when you reorganize slots.
2. Fortune hugs the one egg or weather session you care about right now.
3. Wealth (if owned) anchors the income lane your top capybara tier units patrol.
4. After weather mutations, revisit placement; capybaras relocate and income hotspots shift.

Totems appear to occupy dedicated plot space. Plan layout before spam-buying eggs you cannot place.

Totems versus hatch hammers

Stars totems reduce time; hatch hammers skip time entirely. Use Stars for passive overnight progress and the 5MVISITS Gilded hammer for burst sessions when a top-tier egg blocks four slots.

Pair Gilded hammers with Fortune when you are forcing a rare hatch during weather — not when hammering starter eggs.

Totems and offline play

Totems stay active while you are offline, but eggs only finish hatching if their timers complete during your away time. Stars still helps overnight incubators. Wealth (legacy) amplifies plant cash from hatched capybaras. Full logout routine: Offline Earnings.

When totems are not enough

If income stalls despite Stars and Fortune, the fix is usually better capybaras (egg tier list), tree levels, Golem mutations, or boss rewards — not waiting for a Wealth code that may never return. Follow the progress checklist to diagnose bottlenecks.
